In a 2009 account, Mohammad Jaber identifies this song with Habl al-Muwadda, a Suwayda Hawliya practice, and describes its poet as unknown. Notah’s notation gives Huzam and Wahda for that version, not necessarily every performance. The article’s date is not the song’s birth date.
